By reducing reliance on customer support, the portal lowers call volume, improves response times, and enhances member satisfaction, allowing seniors to take control of their healthcare with greater ease and transparency.
The Alignment Broker Portal is a groundbreaking digital platform that transformed the agent enrollment process for Alignment Health Plans. Originally, agents relied on manual PDF forms and mail-based and faxed submissions, leading to delays and inefficiencies. The Broker Portal introduced real-time online enrollment, increasing efficiency and boosting enrollments by 70%.
The mobile app version further enhanced functionality by allowing agents to scan faxes and paper PDF files, converting them into digital data for seamless processing.
In addition to enrollment, the portal provides agent access to their enrolled members list and enables certification renewals. By streamlining processes, the portal has significantly improved agent productivity, enhanced data accuracy, and contributed to membership growth.
The Alignment Provider Search Portal has revolutionized the way members and agents locate and select healthcare providers. By offering specialty, distance, plan, and medical group-based search capabilities, the portal has streamlined provider discovery, improved data transparency, and enhanced healthcare accessibility. This tool continues to evolve, further supporting members, agents, and healthcare professionals in making informed provider choices.
The Individual Enrollment Portal has the potential to transform the way seniors select and enroll in healthcare plans. By offering plan search by ZIP code, comprehensive plan comparisons, and a guided enrollment process, this self-service tool enhances accessibility, efficiency, and member confidence. However, due to low adoption rates (3%), the tool has not yet been published to production. Moving forward, Alignment Healthcare may refine its approach to improve engagement and drive broader utilization of this streamlined, independent enrollment solution.
The adoption of UI Kits in Adobe XD (early stages) and the transition to Figma has significantly transformed AVA Systems and consumer-facing portals, ensuring a cohesive, scalable, and efficient design process.
